Stoneware tea bowl thrown on a momentum wheel and glazed with wood ash and local clay with hand carved foot ring.
The tea bowl was fired in a wood-fired kiln which takes around 17 hours to complete.
Did you know that the heating of ceramics (in the kiln), especially food-firing, is a skill that can take years to master and give these bowls a very unique feel and vibration.
