Hand thrown on a momentum wheel and shino glazed stoneware tea bowl with hand carved foot ring.
The tea bowl was once fired in a wood fired kiln and is showing some fly ash from the firing which takes around 17 hours to complete.
Did you know that the firing of ceramics (in the kiln), especially wood-firing, is a skill that can take years to master and give these bowls a very unique feel and vibration.
